Rossanna Salazar
Rossanna Salazar has two decades of practical and successful experience in the field of political communications. She served as chief media spokesperson for officials such as Governor Bill Clements and then-Agriculture Commissioner Rick Perry. Ms. Salazar also served as a consultant to Mr. Perry's successful gubernatorial campaign in 2002 and to Kay Bailey Hutchison's first campaign for the U.S. Senate. She advises legislators, multinational companies and trade associations on media relations outreach, earned media strategy and development, and grassroots organizing and coalition building. Her communications career has a solid foundation in political reporting for newspapers in San Antonio, where she also served on the editorial board of the San Antonio Light. During her journalism career, she covered local and state politics, as well as the Texas Legislature. Ms. Salazar is a member of the board of the Texas Association of Business and of the Austin-based charity Lobby for Hope.
